Perseus Labs tests the following CPU architecture.
IA-64 /EM64T
In computing, IA-64 (Intel
Architecture-64) is a 64-bit processor architecture developed in
cooperation by Intel and Hewlett-Packard, implemented by processors
such as Itanium and Itanium 2. The goal of Itanium is to produce a
"post-RISC era" architecture, using a very long instruction word (VLIW)
design. Unlike Intel x86 processors, the Itanium is not geared toward
high performance execution of the IA-32 (x86) instruction set.
Extended Memory 64-bit Technology
(EM64T) is Intel's implementation of AMD64, a 64-bit extension to the
IA-32 architecture. See the AMD64 article for architectural details.
