Functional Testing
ensures that all specifications which have been verified in DVT will
execute all of the functions according to design, including user commands, data manipulation, user interfaces,
and integrations. Most test organizations perform functional
testing toward the end of the development cycle. At Perseus Labs, we
believe that a product’s functionality should be tested during all
phases of the development process, even before it’s possible to do
functional testing on the entire system. This allows for function
comparison throughout the products development lifecycle.
