The primary purpose of PLHD is to place very high load on a local or
remote file system through the use of multiple threads and multiple
files with targeted data patterns. PLHD creates multiple independent
data files, and creates, writes, reads back, compares, and closes the
file in a loop until manually interrupted or an execution timer expires.
